Exhibit
Through January 31, 2026, all members of the public are invited to check out our exhibit at the Willingboro Public Library! Learn about the history of the Futuro house design and how Willingboro became the home of New Jersey's last remaining example. On January 31, we'll commemorate the exhibit with a finale lecture by "Space Age" design expert Eric Wolff, who will discuss the materials used in visionary architect Matti Suuronen's plans.

Community History
Watch the culminating presentation about our work in the Community History program
Our work to research and preserve the history of the Futuro House began with the township's selection as a Community Heart & Soul participant. Through that process, we identified the Futuro as a top point of concern and interest among Willingboro residents. We then were selected to participate in the New Jersey Council for the Humanities' Community History project, which provided training and resources to begin our research work. Subsequently, NJCH has provided two grants to fund our ongoing work.
